Emerged during Zoet’s frequent walks in the Cornish landscape, the works in the exhibition tell the tale of two characters: Mamma, a quiet, bird-like figure of maternal strength, and Pineapple Person, a symbolic version of the artist herself. Through their relationship, Zoet weaves a tender narrative of protection, presence, and the kind of love that shelters without needing walls. Rooted in place yet lifted by imagination, MAMMA builds a gentle world where care becomes its own kind of sanctuary.
